Terms of Service

Last updated 3 October 2026

Acceptance

By using essoria.in or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you use Essoria on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.

What Essoria provides

Essoria provides international trade consultancy, a platform for posting and discovering import and export requirements, verification and document-review support, LC review and trade-finance advisory, and coordination of trade service providers.

Essoria is not a bank, customs broker, freight forwarder, insurer, lender or government authority. Regulated services are performed by appropriately licensed providers, and their own terms apply to those services.

No guarantees

Essoria does not guarantee buyers, suppliers, transactions, payments, Letter of Credit payment, profits or customs clearance. Verification levels describe the checks Essoria completed and are not a guarantee of any party's performance.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete information and keep it up to date.
  • Comply with all laws that apply to your products and trade, including licensing, sanctions and export-control rules.
  • Make your own commercial decisions; you are responsible for contracts you enter into with counterparties.
  • Keep your account credentials secure.

Listings

You must not post false, misleading or prohibited listings. We may review, edit for clarity, decline or remove listings. Listings marked “Sample Opportunity” are illustrative and not offers.

Fees

Fees are set out in a written quotation or engagement agreed with you before work begins. Third-party charges are separate. See the Refund Policy.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Essoria is not liable for the acts or omissions of counterparties or third-party service providers, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, subject to any specific provision in your engagement agreement.
